15 Chilean companies were selected by ProChile to participate in COP28. They all stand out for developing innovative solutions to confront the effects of the climate crisis.
One of them is Mercado Circular, which is already in Dubai to present its circular economy project that promotes the reuse of packaging and the refilling of products.
Everything Has Its Science spoke with Carolina Carrera, customer experience manager of the startup, who commented that to date they have managed to get 150 thousand clients to register more than 215 tons of plastic saved, through the reuse and refilling of product packaging. cleaning.
Carrera explained that the company promotes reuse models that generate savings in the chain, allowing products in refill format to be more economical for consumers.
According to the representative of Mercado Circular, COP28 represents an opportunity for learning, networking and visibility. At the summit, they will seek to show the importance of startups in promoting sustainable practices.
