From Valparaíso to the Arab Emirates: Three entrepreneurs will be present at COP28

These are the T Phite companies dedicated to transforming tire waste, Circular Market, an initiative that promotes a product recharging system to avoid plastic consumption, and Remote Waters. The Climate Change Conference (COP28) will be this Saturday, December 2. Members of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem of the Valparaíso Region, prepare their suitcases to represent the territory at the United Nations Conference on Climate Change.This is T Phite, a company that allows waste tires to be transformed into battery material for electromobility; Circular Market, responsible for avoiding the use of plastics through a product recharging system and Remote Waters, a venture that develops a technology that purifies water while avoiding the emission of CO2.The group of innovative entrepreneurs are part of a delegation made up of 15 companies from all over the country, selected by ProChile, through a public call. Benardita Díaz, CEO of THite, according to a publication made by Mercurio de Valparaíso commented that »My expectations are to take advantage of the COP to convey that Chile and the region are developing high technology. «We are going to look for investors and Venture Capital who want to support us.»Along the same lines, Mercado Circular’s Customer Experience Manager, Carolina Herrera, said that «this is an important recognition of the management we have been doing since 2017 (…) As part of this delegation we are going to show the model and also know what is being done in the world from the current linear to circular economy.Finally, Pablo Cassorla, from Remote Waters, highlighted that this type of event allows progress on issues related to Climate Change, «It is important because many foundations and companies attend that need to connect with a solution like us.»
